What we do:
The Record to Report Department, often abbreviated as R2R department provides financial services for more than 130 affiliates in the EMEA region. Our main areas covered are: General Ledger Accounting, Management Accounting, Treasury and Accounts Receivable. The department is constantly expanding since our main goal is to perform end-to-end accounting activities in the near future.
Your day to day responsibilities are:
As a Record to Report MDR Analyst you bring a sound experience in the Month End Closing, consolidation and reporting at functional, divisional and global levels in the areas of:
- Data Reconciliation and Validation
- Variance analytics
- Master Data Management
- Accruals management
- Management reporting
As a qualified expert, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring timely, and accurate preparation of activities required for the divisional and Group month-end closing
Providing reconciliation between various functional, divisional and Group reporting systems in the areas of Sales, Capex, Monthly Operating expenses etc. .
Ensuring data consistency and accuracy in various divisional reporting systems
Requesting and journaling manual adjustments in divisional reporting systems
Performing master data review and correction for all functions within scope
Collecting and posting of “above country” accruals incl. maintenance and further development of the “Accrual tool” Issue investigation and resolution globally for the above activities
Performing data validation checks supported by extensive variance analysis
Ensuring timely and highly accurate preparation and distribution of relevant management reports
as well as maintenance and development of Management information dashboardsWorking in close collaboration with other colleagues to ensure alignment across functions and with other RSS Networks Colleagues to drive standardization and harmonization (continuous improvement)
Actively supporting the Business Service lead as connector between eCOE/FEP Network and RSS

You have a University degree in finance or related field
3-5 years of working experience in global/divisional closing, consolidation and reporting area
Experience in E2E process implementation/governance and the ability to realize efficiencies (continuous improvement). Further you possess a deep and wide understanding of cost analysis
and cost controlling tasksYou have a strong ability in organizing complex data from different sources into actionable synthetic and meaningful information
You have some experience with SAP ERP Systems and other financial reporting systems
You are able to work independently and to liaise effectively with different organizations
You possess a strong sense of prioritization and demonstrated flexibility to operate in a self-aligning team set-up
You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and productive relationships
You are fluent in English and have good communication skill
